Peppadew® Peppers Recipe

Sweet and Sour Pepperonata with PEPPADEW® and Olives Recipe


5 yellow or red bell peppers seeded and cut into batons
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
12 PEPPADEW® peppers, halved
150 ml tomato passata
1 onion sliced into half moons
6 oil cured black olives pitted and halved
3 cloves garlic thinly sliced
Handful of basil leaves
2 Tbsp olive oil

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil and add the onion and garlic. Season well and saute for 8 minutes until golden. Add the bell peppers and saute for 5 minutes. Pour in the vinegar and tomato passata and simmer for 25 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the basil leaves, PEPPADEW® peppers and olives.
