Guacamole Dip

 

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium avocados, seeded, peeled, and coarsely chopped
  • 1 thin slice of small onion
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 glove garlic, quartered
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup extra large pitted ripe olives, drained and wedged
  • 1 small tomato, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped PEPPADEW™ Sweet Piquanté Peppers

Instructions for Preparation:

  1. Place the chopped avocados, onion slice, lemon juice, garlic, and salt in a blender and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of container as necessary.
  2. Turn mixture into a mixing bowl, stir in olives, chopped tomato and chopped PEPPADEW™ Sweet Piquanté Peppers.
  3. Cover and chill till serving time.
  4. Serve with fresh vegetable crudités or tortilla chips. Makes about 1 2/3 cup dip.
